MAY UPDATE:
Dear Brothers and sisters in the Lord,
I salute in the name of our Lord and King Jesus Christ. I trust that, our Lord Jesus has kept free from any harm. He has done the some to us here in Kenya. We thank for his protection and love towards every one of us. We love friends and thank God for you all.
The Lord has been working through me a lot. I went Tanzania for Easter preaching and the Lord really spoke to his people. Many accepted the Lord their savor. This is a place dominated by the Muslims and we and some of them accepted Jesus as the only savior. The trip was very long from Kisimu To Murogoro in Tanazania is 1240 km by Bus. We hard accident on our back but God helped and we were not hurt. We thank God for his safety.
We thank God for our country Kenya there have been a really positive move and the president has named his cabinet and we hope that Kenya will be really good. Please continue praying for us for real peace to prevail. This is what we have been waiting for and we need to be on our knees. All tribes have started to live together and everybody is seeing the sense for peace and calm. We thank God for that and hope it will be the beginning of the democracy in Kenya.
The ministry is doing pretty well and the orphans are learning, We have very good teachers and we have had a new class room and Head teachers of including the staff room. We praise the Lord his provision. We have stated new classroom and we hope that God will provide.
The Bible school is going on though the principle left for new Job and I am still here teaching. We have 34 students and hope to get more in may. We have not finished the dome try yet. We need to fix classes, septic tank, do the painting and fox beds and many other small things. This still needs about $6000 to $10,000.Only God will prevail on this. There many needs but we place everything into the hands of God.
The new church is doing well and many people are getting saved. We had a tremendous evangelism and 40 members of Tura local Church in Kisumu. We are praying for the building up to now we are still worshiping under the tree. Albert a student of the bible school is working very hard in this new Church. He travels 140 km every weeds on way to care for this church. It very hard to get transport for him and I do not have enough to give. Please pray for him.
My family is doing well, there a lot challenges mostly with having a big family. Right now I have 16 children including my own living with most of them are orphans. There overwhelming need and I know only God would prevail. Two my children are doing Kenya certificate of Education and we still have a big school fees balance. Christ one of our orphan girl is doing Business management and administration and she has done part of the certificate and passed with a distinctions. She needs a lot of tuition fee to proceed with the second part. Please help us to pray for all these needs to be met. Kenya has become very expensive.
Pamela and all our kids are sending their love. We love you friends.
Bye
Benard
