WELCOME TO GROW Zone!

Our Saturday evening and Sunday morning program for K - 5th graders!

Our Vision:
Our vision for elementary ministries is to create a happy, safe, fun, exciting, and culturally relevant atmosphere.
Our Verse: "And Jesus increased in wisdom and in stature and in favor with God and man." Luke 2:52
Our Mission: Is to GROW. G represents God's Grace. R represents Receiving knowledge and truth, O represents Others focused, and W represents active Worship.

K-3rd (K-5 Saturday Evenings) THIS WEEK:

Main Point: I will take a risk to help others!
Memory Verse: Luke 3:11
Bible Story: Esther saves the Jews. (Esther)
Bottom Line: We should act on our faith. There are a number of ways we can do this including stepping out on beliefs, sharing faith with others, and doing what you know God wants you to do.

A typical Saturday evening and Sunday morning in the K-3rd rooms consists of a large group time of learning, a Bible story, and small group time where games, crafts and application are used to bring the story and theme to life.

In addition to Saturday evenings and Sunday mornings you have the opprotunity to read the daily devotion from your Key's for Kids devotional booklet, help your child memorize the memory verse above, and do the activities listed on your child's family devotional.

4th-5th THIS WEEK:

Main Point: Stop being impatient and start waiting on God.
Memory Verse: Isaiah 9:6
Bible Story: Exodus 32:1-14
Theme: Pickle: When we're stuck in the middle.

A typical Sunday morning in the 4th-5th grade rooms consists of a large group time of learning, a Bible story, and joint worship with the teens and adults.

The daily devotions for the 4th-5th grade GROW Zone comes from Keys for Kids. If you didn’t receive this booklet you can view the daily devotion here on our website by clicking here. You may also visit their site directly: http://cbh.gospelcom.net/kfk/home.php.

Weekly points are given every Sunday for attendance, bringing a friend who doesn’t attend Lake Center, bringing a Bible, and bringing an offering. Points are added up at the end of the month and prizes are awarded!
