Welcome to MOPS! My name is Marti Lindstrom. My husband and I live here in Portage and have been married for 15 years. We have 3 children who are 8, 7 and 4. I have been involved with MOPS for 4 years. I really hope you take the chance to come and enjoy our MOPS meetings. We have a fun time eating, laughing, learning, making new friends and building relationships. I know you will love it. Come join us! I am looking forward to meeting you!

ADRIAN MCCLELLAND, CO-COORDINATOR

I'm so excited to have this new role with MOPS! I have such a passion for the MOPS ministry and feel this is exactly where God wants me! I'm excited to get to know each and every MOPS mom and grow our relationships this year! My husband Isaac and I have 2 amazing boys: Josiah (4) and Malachi (1) with boy #3 on the way in November. We just recently moved to Vicksburg and have been enjoying "the country"! I've been involved with MOPS for 4 years and look forward to yet another thrilling year! I believe that I was born to be a mom and I love all the smiles, kisses and hugs! I just love being a part of MOPS and I enjoy the friendships, encouragement and time of refreshment that a MOPS morning brings.

BETHANY CAMPBELL, DISCUSSION GROUP TEAM LEADER

Hi, my name is Bethany Campbell, your Discussion Group Team Leader this year.  I have been attending Lake Center MOPS for five years!  My son Ethan (6)  is starting first grade this fall and my daughter Avery (3) is excited to try some new adventures with just Mom.  MOPS has been such a blessing for me and my family.  When my husband Mark and I relocated to Portage six years ago for his job, I was a brand new mom with no friends or family in the area.  Through this group, I have made many lasting friendships, while be encouraged in my role as a mother and wife.  I hope your MOPS experience is a source of renewal where you leave feeling refreshed and well equipped as a mom.

TRACY MAZELIN, I.T. LEADER

My name is Tracy and I was born and raised in England! I visited the States when I was 19 to work in some summer camps. I ended up finding a college I wanted to attend and came back after that summer to go to Frontier School of the Bible in LaGrange, WY. Talk about culture shock! It was there that I met my husband Mike and after we graduated, we got married in my home town, Stapleford, Nottingham. After we got married, I finished up my degree in Computer Education and we spent a year on the island of Malta doing missionary work. We now live in Vicksburg with our three sons and my part in MOPS is all things technology related!

BARBARA ROBINSON, HOSPITALITY LEADER

Hi, my name is Barbara Robinson and I am so happy to be serving as the Hospitality Leader for MOPS this year.  I came to the Portage area from Grand Rapids 11 years ago when I married my husband Dennis.  We have been blessed with 4 children, Garrett (9), Sophia(7), Isaac(5) and Owen (3).  As you can imagine, our life is very full, crazy and wonderful all at the same time!  I currently work part time in the ER at Bronson, and am anxiously awaiting my acceptance into the Nursing Program at Kellogg Community College.  I hope to work as an OB/Labor and Delivery Nurse someday.  Some of my favorite hobbies include reading, swimming, sewing and of course spending time with my family.  We enjoy camping and being outdoors where everyone has lots of room to play!  I first came to MOPS 3 years ago and felt such an overwhelming sense of comradery and friendship amongst women experiencing the same mothering issues I was.  I hope that you will enjoy your MOPS mornings as much as I have. DEB SCHNEPP, CREATIVE ACTIVITIES LEADER

Hello, my name is Deb. My husband Erik and I have two sons, 5 and 3 years old. We moved here from Holland, MI 2 years ago and are enjoying the Kalamazoo area. I am a graduate of Liberty University with a major in Human Ecology, Food Management. I am loving the activity coordinator position. Before we moved from Holland, I was working in Human Resources coordinating activities and events for the employees. I loved the job and MOPS has given me the opportunity to do it for you. In my spare time, I enjoy creating recipes and entering cooking contest. Cooking is a great way to have fun with my two sons. We have fun making messes and creating new things for daddy to try. My prayer for you is to find the enjoyment, encouragement and friendships I have found in MOPS. Come join us!  

MARIANNE VOETBERG, FINANCE LEADER

Hi!  I am starting in a new position as the finance leader this year.  I am very excited to be able to use my skills in the accounting area to help out this great ministry.  My husband Buzz and I have lived in Portage for three years where we are raising our four kids-Clara(7), Ellie(6), Reagan(6) and Gavin(4).  As a family, we love to ride bikes, swim, camp, find new playgrounds, visit grandma and grandpa and read our nightly Bible stories.  Through MOPS I have made many friends and learned so much about being a mother.  I love the open atmosphere and the realization that I am not alone in the issues I have with my children.  My kids have also truly enjoyed the MOPPETS program.  So, welcome to MOPS where you can gain new perspectives, new friends and enjoy a time of relaxation!
