I began my ministry at Lake Center Bible Church in December of 1995. I am a graduate of the Word of Life Bible Institute, Cornerstone University, and Grand Rapids Theological Seminary. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Organizational Leadership, a Master's of Divinity, and a Master of Arts in Biblical Counseling, and received a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision from Regent University. I am also a licensed counselor with the state of Michigan. My wife, Debra, and I live in Portage with our daughter RaeLeigh and twin sons, Devon and Tyler.

Associate Pastor of Student Ministries

I began my ministry at LCBC in May of 2005. I received a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Western Michigan University in 2003 and then attended Multnomah Biblical Seminary (Portland, Oregon). I am currently attending Grand Rapids Theological Seminary pursuing a Master of Arts in New Testament Studies. My wife, AnneMarie, and I were married in December of 2003, and now live in Portage with our beautiful daughter, Kaitlyn Joy. E-mail Brian.

Pastor of Growth Groups

I first served as Associate Pastor at LCBC from 1977-96 doing “everything but preaching and teenagers” and have now rejoined the staff part-time in March of 2007. In between that time I held and still hold various administrative positions with 2 mission agencies and have traveled overseas 20 times. I graduated from the Grand Rapids School of the Bible and Music, and have a BA in Secondary Education from Western Michigan University. My wife, Denise, and I have 2 daughters and 6 grandchildren all attending LCBC.E-mail Gordon.

AMY POWERS

Director of Preschool Ministry

I began my ministry here at LCBC in October of 2007, but have been serving in Children’s Ministry since 1989. I attended Kalamazoo Valley Community College and New Tribes Bible Institute. I love telling children about Jesus and making their first impressions of church happy ones. My husband, Billy, and I have three children; Kevin, Emily and Abigail. E-mail Amy.

MARK VANDERKLOK

Director of Elementary Ministry

I began my ministry at Lake Center Bible Church in October of 2007. I attended Cornerstone University for my first two years of college, and am currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in English/Elementary Education at Grand Valley State University. I've spent five summers and one full calendar year serving at Geneva Camp & Retreat Center (Holland, Michigan) counseling, coordinating, interning, and hosting. E-mail Mark.

JAN STEWART

I began my ministry here at Lake Center Bible Church in May of 2004, as I felt God's call on my life. I came to Lake Center after 16 years at WMU, where I provided office assistance, while completing a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Leadership from Cornerstone University. Megan and I team up in the office to offer administrative assistance to the Ministry Staff and various ministries, while acting as the “information hub” for our church family. I serve as a Stephen Minister and I am a member of our Worship Arts Team. I love to sing and most Sundays you can find me on the platform singing with the choir or the Praise Team.

MEGAN DIETRICH

I began my ministry here at LCBC in February of 2007. I received a Bachelor’s of Arts in Organizational Communication from Western Michigan University in 2006 and am currently pursuing a Masters of Arts in Biblical Counseling at Grand Rapids Theological Seminary. I have a passion for dancing and have been blessed with the opportunity to freely worship Christ through our dance ministry here at Lake Center.
